Come and join us!

By becoming an Accredited Clinical Physiologist, you help the ACCP grow in size and increase our capacity to promote Clinical Physiologists with national stakeholders.

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to have public recognition of your accredited status within Australia!

Voluntary accreditation with the Australian Council for Clinical Physiologists provides public recognition of pre-requisite to practice as a clinical physiologist within Australia.

There are currently two levels of Clinical Physiologist accreditation within Australia

  • Level 1 is a provisional level for less experienced registrants working towards Level 2 accreditation.
  • Level 2 is for experienced registrants that meet the criteria for full ordinary membership of the applicable affiliated professional association.

Gaining ACCP registration is the mechanism for you to obtain the status of an Accredited Clinical Physiologist.

Registered Clinical Physiologists  will meet all the following three (3) requirements:

  1. Applicants must be ‘Established Clinical Physiologists’ with relevant experience. ‘Established Clinical Professionals’ is defined by the ACCP as being eligible to be a current full or ordinary member of an affiliated professional body.
  2. Applicants must be currently employed in a field relevant to their nominated Clinical Physiology discipline(s) in, and in good standing.
  3. Applications must be approved, in writing by the Board of the ACCP. Approval is at the discretion of the ACCP Board.

This accreditation is in accordance with the constitution of the ACCP including being subject to annual renewal. For full terms and condition please refer to the constitution.
